SPF: My New Go-To Product

I was recently introduced to a great SPF product. After using it for about a month, I am really excited to write a review.

So back to my new fav SPF product. If you’re a regular ThisThatBeauty follower (and I know you are) you know that Aveeno Positively Ageless Moisturizer with SPF 30 has been my holy grail for some time now. This product has been my sunscreen and moisturizer in one, and has worked beautifully for the last couple of years.

But I’ve recently encountered a dilemma. When washing my face and preparing for an evening out, I don’t need a moisturizer with SPF. But my primary moisturizer, Aveeno Positively Ageless, contains SPF. Seeing as there is no need to apply sunscreen in the evening, I began thinking that it would be great to have the SPF when I need it and not have it locked into my moisturizer.

About a month ago, my Aesthitician (Michelle) introduced me to an amazing SPF product that is pure SPF30 and can be added to foundation, moisturizer, etc. as needed. When she first told me about the product I was reluctant because I have not had good experiences with SPF products that do not contain a moisturizer. I find that these products leave a grey or purple tint/residue. And that’s not cute! Well my new find is amazing and I just had to share.

So behold, my new SPF holy grail product –

I love that this product blends beautifully and can be mixed with your favorite moisturizer or foundation. And another bonus – Solar Defense Booster SPF contains botanical extracts and Vitamins A, C, and E…which all work to prevent premature aging. YAHTZEE!
