A Rose Romance is one of MAC’s newest collections. It launched back in April. At that time I hit up the MAC Pro store and checked out the goods. Feeling a wee bit underwhelmed, I passed on covering the collection on ThisThatBeauty.
However, while recently at the MAC counter in Nordstrom Short Hills, I swatched the Tender Tryst Lip Stain and had a moment. “Ohh lah lah“, I thought. I fell hard for the pretty berry/ plumish stain. I have a thing for matte lips and I love the idea of a stain that lasts forever.

So while strolling NYC this past weekend I stopped in the MAC Flatiron store for Tender Tryst. Can you believe I bought the last one? Talk about “meant to be”!
Since this little gem managed to sneak by me when it was released, I asked the MAC artist if there’s anything else in the collection worth my attention. This particular artist knows my taste so I trust her input.
I had briefly peeped the blush when it launched but I guess I thought to myself “ya seen one gel blush ya seen em all”.
Well shut my mouth because this gel blush is actually different. It is ridiculously light and perfect for spring/summer. When I first applied the color I thought I’d have to dig into the product to get enough out to apply to my cheeks. Much to my surprise, all I had to do was lightly touch the gel product and ample product was distributed. The texture is extremely smooth and blendable. This shades gives a very beautiful soft natural flush. And given how little product is needed, I imagine that my unborn unconceived daughter will be able to wear Just a Pinch for her Sweet 16.

Not sure why my eyes are wonky, but please focus your attention on the blush, ladies. The blush. LOL 
And here I am wearing Tender Tryst…please excuse the “I need a relaxer touch up” moment I’m having. LOL
