I love it when a drugstore product acts like it’s high end. The nerve!

Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Time Renewal Collection is a Frugalista’s dream. Like many of you, I have scaled back a smidge on certain aspects of my “upkeep”. Instead of weekly salon visits, I now do-it-myself at home. The Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Time Renewal collection is one of my Bargainista go-to’s. The line consists of:

• Time Renewal Shampoo
• Time Renewal Conditioner
• Time Renewal Mask

For me, the hero product is the deep conditioning treatment. The daily conditioner is effective in, well, “conditioning”… but I tend to prefer more intensive moisturizing treatments for my dry coarse locks. Having said that, Time Renewal Mask is an excellent choice for a budget friendly at-home deep nourishing treatment. The rich think formula penetrates deeply to quench parched hair.

Each product in the Time Renewal collection is retail priced at $4.99. That’s a major savings when compared to the cost of high end hair care products. Now I still have my high end favs, but I do not rely on them as often as I used to. I normally use Pantene or similar mass market lines for a couple of weeks and then rotate to my specialty brands…then back to Pantene for a couple of weeks. This practice definitely saves me money. You should try it!
